Telling You Story conference

Two years ago, my Uncle John hosted the Diagnosis to Discipleship conference at the Seed of Hope center. This year was the second part of a three-part teaching, this year it was called Telling Your Story. The conference was two days long. Registration started at 6:00 o’clock in the evening on Friday. Saturday was when the conference really took off. Starting Saturday mooring all the participants were called to create a time line of their lives on paper with the utensils provided to them.

When the Timeline was finished the next part of the conference was for them to write out there story by the information given to them on their time line. The third part of the conference was when all the people had to tell what they had written to their group. This was the real first step to actually getting up on stage and telling there story to all the participants. After all the stories were told to the groups were told they went on a tea break. My Uncle John gave them a extra long break so they could prepare for the next part of the conference called His Healing Your Story. This part of the conference was when all the participants worshiped and prayed with leaders for over an hour. While this was going on, I helped Karren set up there five star dinner. When the worship and praying was over, the final part of the conference began were ever one was to get up and actually tell there story to the hole group of participants . In the end ever person got up and told there story.

Once this was over all the participants were treated to a five star dinner that Karen and I prepared for everybody. When dinner was over, we gave a certificate and a gift bag to ever body in the conference. The gift bag contained of a journal a Verse Tag and a pen. After ever body received there gifts they went back into the simonya time room for a picture, after the picture was over Carl and a few other people dropped of a couple people from the conference to their houses, then we headed home and went to bed. Here are some pictures of the conference.

I’ll keep you posted
